    I received a call from this number, this would be the third year I get these calls from.

    (02 8558 4675) This is the number used when I got the call from at 2pm on last Thursday, claiming to be accident claims insurance, told them I wasn’t interested and hung up on them.

    Got a call from a lady with strong Indian accent claiming that she works for Accident Claim Management and asked me to confirm whether I have been involved in an Accident. I said No. When confronted where she got my number she panicked and hung up.

    They keep calling me from this landline and mobile number 0406 469 127 asking if I'd been in an accident. I ask them back if they were involved in an accident and they eventually hang up. Annoying!

    I keep getting calls and messages meant for a KLAUS from this number and others. I don't know who the hell Klaus is but messages with link regarding possible money going into account for KLAUS. Im pretty sure its a scam to do with Bitcoin. I don't normally answer, but today I screamed at the guy to stop calling my number.

    Hang up after I responded. Looks like they harvest 'live' numbers for further telemarketing calls.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
