Received phone call from this number & did not leave a message. Suspected Spam & blocked immediately.
I answered as I was expecting a call from Sydney. Caller said they were from Visa/Mastercard security and asked if I'd just made a payment of $760 through Amazon. I said I hadn't and they offered to cancel the payment. They told me my name and postcode which was worrying. I asked if they could text me the details but that wasn't suitable. Repeatedly asked if I wanted them to cancel the payment. I replied that I thought it might be a scam call and asked which card exactly they were referring to. She said ANZ Visa and I replied that that was a bad choice as I don't have any accounts with ANZ. She promptly hung up. I tried ringing the number later from my home phone which comes up as "private" and received the message that this number is not connected.
