I got a call from someone who said they were from ANZ Bank, claiming that my card had been suspended. This was suspicious as I closed my ANZ account over five years ago. I'm sure this call was a scam.

I received a scam call featuring an automated message, allegedly from "ANZ Bank," stating there was a $1000 charge on my credit card. The message instructed me to press 1 to authorize the charge or press 2 to speak to a representative, which feels very suspicious.
I do not recognize this phone number and have no information regarding who it belongs to, which raises my concern about its legitimacy.
This number just called and claimed they were from the Commonwealth Bank and asked if I had just made an international transaction, when I said I needed to confirm with my husband they hung up.

This is a spam call. Two calls were received. The first no voice message was left. The second time he called rang he indicated that it was David from Telstra calling about my home internet and wanting to confirm my identity.
