Called this evening claiming to be Service NSW and they had fraudulent activity on my Licence number. However, they were on a very bad line and weren't providing much detail. They knew my first name, which was concerning. Told them I would contact Service NSW directly tomorrow and hung up, they tried to call back didn't leave a voicemail.
Pretended to be from Optus billing.
I suspect this was a scam call. There was a long silence on the line, and then the caller did not say anything at all.
I received a call from this number claiming that my IP address was sending illegal data. The caller then asked if I knew what an IP address was. When I confirmed that I did, they abruptly hung up on me.
I just got one and they claim they were from Telstra.

Total scam call asked if I had authorized $750 charge on my PayPal account… I said that I did (didn’t) and he just hung up ….
