This number called my phone, but it was blocked and is unfamiliar to me.
After reading an anonymous post from 3/4/23 detailing a shocking response from a scammer, I decided to stop answering unknown numbers. The most recent call didn’t leave a voicemail, so I have blocked this number based on previous reports.
Answered and no one spoke for a while, then a recorded voice said “goodbye “ Blocked number.
It was a scam call claiming that I owed money on an electricity bill.
I said to the caller, you think I came down in the last shower? And said I know this is a scam call, and he said how? And I said I don't have an electricity account in my name and the caller then said "shut the f*** up" which confirmed it was definitely a scam call - because if that was a legitimate collections person they would be fired on the spot for swearing at a customer.
