    Rang my mobile twice but didn't leave any messages. When I called back an Asian woman answered on the first ring and asked "Who is this?" when I asked who she was she said she was from a mobile company called "M" mobile and had a special deal. I stopped her there and said do not call my number again and I will be reporting as a scam call. Hung up.

    Felt and red flagged of a scam. Claimed to be from TM Mobile company. Took about 20 seconds to connect to a voice/person. Offered me a new phone with fingerprint and facial recognition technology.50% off today when I sign up, just give me your address. I said no I'm not giving you my address, he yelled rudely "then how can I send you your phone huh?" I said I want to see the product disclosure statement first, he said "ok I'll send it to you, what is your email address?" I hung up. He could've sent it to my mobile phone via text link, which he obviously had the number. Phone line was cutting out & very distorted, breaking up all the time. I've never had trouble with phone calls within Australia. Man with accent (? Of Asian decent). Never heard of them and I won't risk it. I'll phone a company when I want a new phone via a verified phone number.

    From T-Mobile - Smells like a scam... Very argumentative when I asked how they even they got my number as I have 0 affiliation with T-Mobile. Can try and waste their time but the accent will make you want to hang up as soon as they say "hello". Avoid, decline call, scam.

    I had two missed calls from this number so I phoned back.

    It rang for a long time until someone called Stella answered, did not say where they were calling from - that it was a promotional call to upgrade my phone. She asked if I wanted a new phone.. I declined and she said to have a good day...

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
