Charity telemarketer that makes calls on behalf of charities. I suspect Fred Hollows Foundation was trying to get me back 1 - 2 years after I cancelled.
You know the deal. They thank you for your past contributions, give you a long spiel about how important their work is and how many people I helped give their sight back to, but there's lots more to do and they want to count on my "support" and behave as if OF COURSE I'm going to rejoin and support their new campaign and then you waste more time as they try to counter every excuse you give them for why you're not going to give them your money anymore.
And all that does is give you a few months grace before they call back from a different number (I've blocked/screened several) and try again.
