They answered in Chinese, and when I requested they speak English, they pretended to be with Vodafone, warning me that my network was going to be disconnected—however, I don’t even use Vodafone. When I mentioned this, they quickly hung up on me.
I spoke with a scammer who identified themselves as a Chinese national. They answered my call in Chinese; when I asked for English, they claimed to represent Vodafone and stated that my network was about to be disconnected. However, I am not a Vodafone customer. Once I informed them of this, they promptly hung up.
This is a scam. Asking for Credit card details and Chinese student details.
Pre-recorded message claiming to be stopping my phone number very soon obviously a scam of sorts, also speaks in Chinese and English so China based I’d say.
