So, this number called, claiming they were renewing my Toyota RA. Turns out I didn’t even have one! They sent an email during the call to verify it was legit, and after a bit of back and forth, I renewed it without a hitch. Got the payment confirmation straight to my inbox—count me in as satisfied!
Random call from someone claiming to be from Toyota, saying my roadside assist is expiring. Pretty fishy since I just renewed that a mere 4 months ago. Cheers mate, but you’re in the blocked zone now!
I received a call from this number asking if I wanted to renew my roadside service with Toyota, claiming it was about to expire. This did not make sense to me since I am actually with RAA roadside assistance. I decided to contact RAA directly to handle my renewal.
A male caller, claiming to be from Toyota, contacted me to renew my Roadside Assistance. He was quite rude during the conversation and pressured me to confirm my payment details over the phone. I told him I would call back on Monday and asked for a reference, but he quickly read it out and I found it difficult to catch. I decided to ignore the offer and report the call as a scam before hanging up.
I keep receiving calls from this number, and the message they left was unclear and difficult to understand. I have since blocked the number.
When I answered, I heard strange noises and someone saying hello before they hung up on me.
This call is not spam. My son's roadside assistance with Toyota expired, and Toyota sent an email regarding it. Someone from this number later called us. They seemed genuine, but they need to communicate confidently to avoid being perceived as scammers.
I answered a call from a person with an overseas accent who claimed that my Toyota roadside assistance was about to expire, even quoting my vehicle registration details. However, I believe my roadside assistance has actually expired for about two years. I'm still uncertain about this call.
The voicemail I received was very difficult to understand and seemed to be from someone claiming to be associated with Toyota. The message mentioned something about assistance, possibly roadside assistance, but it was unclear. They left a 1300 number to call back. The same number has been repeatedly calling me and leaving mumbling messages, so I have decided to block it.
I didn’t pick up the call, but I strongly believe it is a scam or potentially unsolicited from previous experiences.
Nuisance caller. Called twice within 10 minutes and when you try to call back, all you hear is music.. Typical pain in the bum..
I have been called from this number for over well 12 months. Each time they say they are either Dun and Bradstreet (I have no outstanding debt so definitely no account with them)...or some solar power offering Victorian discounts... I haven't lived in Victoria since 2011...I've blocked them numerous times but it just doesn't seem to stop them..I've asked them to take me off their call list but to no avail... Cant somebody do something about this rampant disruption? This is one only of many different scam calls I get most days from car accident compensation, inheritance, debt.. On and on it goes... Why is it that we have their numbers but no-one seems to be able to do anything them st... So friggin weird!! And annoying!! Its getting to the point where I don't want to answer my phone or open messages and emails....ridiculous!
