This Number is definitely being used by scammers pretending to be from the "Fraud Department" of whatever bank they think you might be associated with. They stole a large sum of money from my parents late last week. They set up special case numbers and case managers for their "investigations" then tell people that they are categorically not allowed to tell anyone about the special fraud investigation they are asking for help with because it might jeopardise the outcome of the investigation. They then proceed try to convince them to deposit their money into a number of different Australian bank accounts to help them track the fraudulent activity. They also try to taking control of their computers via remote apps in order to transfer funds from bank accounts.

There were a large amount of people who could be heard injured the background when I called this number to ask for information and it seems to be associated with a significant scam racket.
