    Total scammer. Knew my name and number but couldn’t tell me exactly when or what car was involved in the “supposed accident” that entitled me to a ctp compensation from a supposed injury. After my skeptical questioning the lady gave up and ended the call.

    Answered the call from 02 8003 7153. I initially couldn't understand what the caller said. I asked him to repeat and he said he was from "Accident Claim Management".

    I told him I am no accident, despite other peoples claim and I don't need management. Told him he is scummy scammer and hung up. Redialled the number.... oh! Such a surprise to find that this number has been disconnected.

    Stay classy people.

I'm like "no" she then asked if Ive claimed in the past 2 years, I'm like "no" and then she said "oh ok, thank you." and hung up. Weirdest scam call. Not sure what the point was. Scam call about an accident I had two years ago. No such event took place. I told them that this was a scam call and the female voice said it wasn't. I hung up.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
