This was a scam call. The caller claimed that I had missed a call from my internet provider and that my internet service would be cut off within 24 to 48 hours due to alleged illegal activities on my account. They instructed me to press 1 to talk to someone, but I chose to hang up instead.
The caller claimed that my NBN (National Broadband Network) connection would be disconnected and instructed me to press 1 to speak to a technician.

Received call from this number claiming to be my internet provider. Told me suspicious behaviour being used from my internet, and someone in California has hacked into my IP address. I'm located in Australia and don't know anybody in another country. Hacked into my bank account and took $500 without my authorisation.
Automated message that states:
"This call is from your internet service provider. We will be disconnecting your internet connection within 24 hours because your IP address had been compromised from many different locations. Please press 1 to immediately speak to are internet service representative.".
