Scam text message from 0468 667 540 asking me to call 02 7251 6277 about my NAB account.
Be careful this is a scam.
I received a spam text from this number falsely claiming to be from NAB. The message stated that my scheduled payment of $900 to Sheriff Dixon was on hold for further checks. It instructed me to call NAB Assist at (02) 7251 6277 if I did not authorize this payment. The reference number provided was NA72E.
This phone number is not associated with NAB (National Australia Bank). It seems to be used by a spammer.
The number 0466 625 641 sent a text pretending to be from NAB, stating: “NAB: Security code for your transaction of $1470.12 to Abdul Karim is 976446. Don’t recognize this request? Please call us on (02) 7251 6277 Ref: NBS34.” I suspect this is fraudulent.
As per everyone else, text purporting to be from NAB and to call the number 02 7251 6277.

I turned off my caller id and tried calling 02 7251 6277 to see how they were going to try and scam me and play along to annoy them and waste their time, but always get the busy signal.
