No doubt about it! Just got my shiny new phone thanks to these blokes, they're the real deal!
Just to put your worries aside, this number is actually Vodafone. They called to sort me out with a shiny new phone since my old one was a bit past it. All above board!
So I got this call from some bloke claiming my old 3G phone is going kaput by December 2025, and that Vodafone is handing out free phones. I’ve been with them for ages, but I was kinda suspicious, ya know? So, I shared my name and address, but bloody hell I was ready to bail if things got dodgy!
Got pinged by this number twice, and my phone's yelling "suspected spam" at me, so I’m just ignoring it!
I’ve had this number try to reach me a couple of times with no connection, so naturally, I thought it’s dodgy. But after finally chatting with them on the third ring, turns out it was allegedly Vodaphone regarding some upcoming issues. Still a bit confused, though, with all the discrepancies!
Called number back got a message.
From TPG telecom.
This number keeps ringing me up and when I pick up, it's just dead air. The moment I said "hello," they just bailed. Sounds dodgy, right?
You can pick up if you like, but don't bother ringing this number back. It's a bit dodgy!
So, called back a Vodafone number, but it could be one of those dodgy spoofed deals. Just keep an eye out!
Got a callback from Vodafone about my network coverage issue – looks like they're sorting it out properly, good on 'em!
