Just got a call from 02 6171 2005 on 4/4/2017 - asking for date of birth and other personal information. I did not give and asked for their contact, they provided me with a contact number of 13 11 42. Have not called this number as yet.. Be careful.

I had a couple of missed calls from this number and when I answered no one one spoke. I have recently been the target of some Scam phone calls since my phone number was publicly advertised for a business, so it may be the same group.

First they claimed to be the ATO and then a debt collector, Dunn and Bradstreet sending text messages as well. They do sound very professional and the second time I spoke to them they even continued to stayed on the phone when I abused them for two full minutes.

Don't EVER give any personal information to anyone who contacts you first. The system is asking for you to confirm your identity by giving your TFN, address etc.
