I just receive a voice message on land lyn, that said the person of the house or my layer must contact them. It is the tax office of Australia.
I didn't get a call but a friend had a message on his phone to ring ato. He called repeatedly but just an electronic sound not a ringtone. He is a pensioner and doesn't pay tax so no reason for ato to call him. He will ignore further calls.
I just got the same phone call as the other two commenters. A prerecorded message saying that this business is on record with the ATO for Tax Evasion. Pretty sure thats a big fat NOPE!
I also just received a message left from this number on our home phone. The caller left his name as Allan Smith but did not ask for a persons name in our home, just spoke instantly into where he was from, Australian Tax Depart and from the CDP.. The Commonwealth Directors of Prosecutors, he did sound very convincing and very professional, also asked that our lawyer return his call and not to disregard this call.

Stating that the person or persons at this phone number owed money to the australian tax office. The caller did not identify himself and also he did not know who was living at this address, I also looked up in the phone book what the phone number was for the ATO and its 13 28 61.
