The caller didn't ask for anyone in particular by name, just to ring the NSW phone number 02 6140 3411. Issued threats that if we didn't ring urgently, the ATO would be forced to take action against us!!!! Give us a break!! How dumb are these people!! (and I am being polite).
Got message from "Officer Mark Brown" of ATO. Told to call back "Officer Jason Matthews" and it's so urgent that he'll give me the direct personal number. Which is this one. One hour before this another message was left from Jason O'Connor saying there was a lawsuit file against my name re tax evasion. Funny that he didn't mention my name. That return number was 0261403486. SCAM CITY!!! Spread the word.

It's a SCAM. Do not give your name. The ATO do not act this way and the staff do not became aggressive like these guys do.
