I rang the number back because they left a call back number. Wanted to know my name without identifying themselves. They left a voice message on home line saying I have a warrant out for my arrest due to tax fraud/tax avoidance. That I need to contact them immediately or get my lawyer to do it.
This scam they call me they say they are from ATO taxation office they investigate my tax return for the last 5 years and said there are false claim and it is intentionally done. Now the matters are in Court if I proceed a dispute in court I have to pay a legal fees.
They offer out of court settlement and if I would pay four thousand dollars. They would not ask for your bank details or credit card detail but they would ask you to buy store card and reveal the code to them.
