I received a call from a scammer who asked if I had made a bank transfer to someone in America. When I replied no, they requested I write down a case number before abruptly hanging up.
This number called me twice, but they did not leave a voicemail either time, so I chose not to return the call. Thankfully, I didn't call back.
I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and when I searched this one, I noticed they have attempted to call me four times. Thank you for the information, everyone!
I received an automated call that started with a message instructing me to press 2 for a Chinese language option. I didn’t press anything and the call continued in Chinese, which I don’t understand, so I decided to hang up.
I received a call from this number stating that my phone would be out of service today. The automated message offered options in English and Chinese, but after I pressed 1 for English, the response continued in Chinese, and then the call ended abruptly.

Contacted me on Gold Coast didn’t answer blocked call after finding it was a scam but for what reason? Is it to annoy? Or when you answer they use your line for some other reason? I just don’t get it.

I received a call from a number in Albury claiming to be from the Immigration department. I was unsure about their legitimacy.
