    Certainly not Brand Connect. Brand Connect is a WA company not NSW, also the website mentioned on their answering machine message if you call back is certainly not Brand Connect and is almost definitely a shell with nothing notable or traceable on it. 100% a scam, and after blocking 10 of their numbers and still getting several daily calls, I’m about ready to crack. DO SOMETHING GOVERNMENT!!

    Very similar experience. I have had this number call me conservatively 10 times over the last week. I’ve blocked the number which has had zero impact.

    I have had multiple calls over the last 2 weeks from this number except the last 2 digits change. (02) 5505 4938, 4939, 4940, 4931, 4933, 4932 not too mention all the other random spam calls I get once or twice. So over it!!! I have blocked them all doesn't seem to make any difference.

    I’ve blocked this number along with variations ending in 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37... seems like a lot right? Every time I block one they call from a different number. I answered to this number yesterday and told them to F off, then blocked, and they’re still trying to call today (get missed call notifications still for blocked numbers). It’s a joke, how is this kind of harassment legal?

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
