What Our Users Reviewed
The call took a long time to connect to a person, which was my first warning sign. A male caller with a heavy accent introduced himself as being from Visa Card Services, but since I don’t have a Visa card, I quickly ended the call.
I did not answer this call, but I strongly suspect it is a scam based on multiple prior reports about this number.
A real person - telling me that my VISA account had 2 transactions which seemed incorrect from Amazon, bot for hundreds of dollars. I asked which account? Visa she said. But which one? ANZ. Told her she was lying - promptly hung up.
The caller pretended to be from the VISA fraud team but addressed me with the wrong name. They attempted to convince me to cancel my card without providing proper details like the last four digits. They mentioned supposed fraudulent transactions from Coles and Amazon, which raises a red flag—beware of this scam!
The caller addressed me by name and claimed to be inquiring about my MasterCard and Visa card transactions. They requested my recent purchase numbers from Amazon, which is suspicious since I've never made any purchases from Amazon. I hung up and subsequently blocked the number.
The caller identified herself as being from a "Security Department" but did not specify what organization she represented. This raised my suspicions, and I believe this to be a scam attempt.
Called but after a short time nothing so I hung up sure it was going to be a scam earlier today from similar number all in Harden?
I received a voicemail from a caller with an accent discussing a marketing campaign but did not clarify the purpose or details of the campaign. The message invited me to leave a voicemail for a callback, but there was no additional information provided.
