Scam number 02 5306 2283 Got a message left on my voicemail today supposedly from a Michael Anderson from the ATO threatening me with warrants and court actions if I disregard this call and don't phone them back. Was stated that I had been reported for tax fraud. They never used my name throughout the message just 'you have' or 'you must'. I'll be contacting my accountant and wait for an actual letter from the ATO before I ring these scammers back. Love to meet them face to face!!! Shitheads!!

Scammer. Known by the name Michael Anderson from the ATO, threatened to have the police taking me into custody within 45 minutes. How I blew his cover? I asked him to state my TFN and also looked up his number on Google. Thank you all the previous reporters. Hope no one will fall into his trap. The police has been informed.
ATO Scam Call about tax avoidance and fraud. I've not received a letter or any other contact from the ATO. Michael Something was the name used.

Got the same call, they told me I was charged with tax fraud, and asked me to hand myself into the nearest police station lmao.
They left a message on my phone and I could only hear half of the message, about tax fraud. So I called back and he asked me for my name and said that he was going to put me on hold. But he never did. I waited for a couple of minutes and in the meantime, listened to his colleagues having a conversation and laughing in the background. Definitely a scam!
Another ATM Scam, I called back to play and called myself Peter Griffin (Family Guy) and they found my record and I owed money ha ha ha.
