Don't ever call a number that has been sent to you. Instead look up the correct listed phone number for the company/bank and call that. Then ask them. If it's genuine someone there will be able to help you.

Dodgy email stating an iPhone has been added to CommBank app. I’m almost attempted to call the number to take the scammers for a ride.
This number is being sent in emails, asking it to be called to talk to Commbank assistance desk. Suspect it is a scam.
