This seems to be a PayPal scam. The caller requested that I press 1 to report fraud and 2 to accept something, but I did not engage since I don't have a PayPal account.
I recommend blocking this number, as I believe it is associated with a scam.
I received a recorded message from this number claiming that two Apple gift cards worth $800 had been purchased on my PayPal account and prompting me to press 1 if the transaction was authorized.
I experienced a scam robocall that claimed to originate from the Commonwealth Bank, discussing allegedly fraudulent transactions. When I tried to return the call, I was met with a recorded message saying, "Welcome to Diamond Plaza," which only heightened my suspicion regarding the legitimacy of this number.
This is the third unknown call I've received from a number allegedly based in Bathurst, NSW, directed to my mobile. I chose not to answer, and the caller did not leave a message. When I called the number back using a landline, a recorded message in an American accent stated I was in a queue for 'Diamond Plaza.' However, a web search revealed no 'Diamond Plaza' in Bathurst, only in Vietnam. I suspect this is either a scam or a telemarketing call.
Seems to be a random call centre or possibly a scam.
Received an unsolicited call from 02 53031841 didn't answer the call and caller didn't leave a message. I called back and an automated message bank announced it was " Diamond Plaza" and to hold the call as I was the 10th in line for a rep. I hung up.. I don't know who these people are, a Google search does not bring anything of use to review... I suspect it some sort of bs call center at best and maybe a scam at worst.
