What Our Users Reviewed
Definitely Scanmers. They said they were with UberEats and called my dad and told him about tablet replacement as well. But luckily he forwarded the call to me. When I asked them to verify themselves they could not do that. I asked them to for our customer ID which they should have if they are calling us but he had to search for it and could not provide me one. Then they just send me a text message with a Code and asked me to tell them the code. I just refused to give it to them and told them to send me an email or letter with the details about that tablet. This he couldn't do. So super sketchy people, don't give them any information. We beware and ask them to verify themselves and record the call.
This is definitely a scam! The person said that he was from UberEats and would need to replace a new tablet for me. He asked for my phone and email verfication code and I did give him. Then, he asked the verfication code again and said this would be the last code he needed. I felt suspcious and hung up. After that, while I was logging in my bank account and a screen showed that I forgot customer ID or password. I immediately linked this with the call and called the bank to reset my password. I was almost scammed and bank account was almost hacked. This was a very good lesson for me! Do not pick up strange calls that ask you for your personal vertification code!!!!!!
This is scam call, claimed they are from UberEats, asked for details and try to get the verification code to login your account.
