I've been receiving calls from numbers that have the 02 area code which is a Sydney or N.S.W. number.

I returned a call yesterday from a dodgy looking mobile number (14/1/2021) and a guy answered & said he had no record of calling me & said he was in Sydney.

This land line that rang me today (02)50162609 had a recorded female voice saying I was about to loose $200 if I did not call a different phone number (I didn't have time to write it down but it started with 1100) & the voice said that it was connected to an eBay order.

I have been receiving at least 2 dodgy calls a day, some trying to sell electricity deals, others just hang up, others trying to get me to invest money into crypto currency.

Please...just say no to everyone who asks for your details, even if you are with that said company. You can always ask for a number to call them back on & inbetween time, Google or search the number on the internet & see if it's legitimate. You should always ring your own company to question the validity of the call you received.

I worry for all the older folk who were bought up in a world where almost everyone was trustworthy.

It is sadly, not like this in these times!

Trust no one... Sooooo sad!!
