This is a scam, the caller tries to convince you that your home network, and your IP address, has switched from a “private” to “public” mode, and that you are at risk. This is a trick to try to convince you to let the caller have remote access to your computer and home network.
I researched this phone number and found that it is associated with a Commercial & Property broker, not Telstra. The caller requested that I go to my computer to fix an IP issue she claimed was making my IP address public. I felt uneasy about the conversation and decided to hang up because it seemed like a scam.
