Unmasking the Mystery of 02 4313 2203

In today’s digital age, receiving unsolicited calls can lead to confusion and concern. One such number making rounds among users is 02 4313 2203, which has been flagged as a prominent Chinese scam caller. If you've received a call from this number, you’re not alone, and it’s wise to be aware of the potential risks.

What Do Users Have to Say?

User reports have consistently identified this number as being linked to fraudulent activities. On average, these calls attempt to lure individuals into schemes related to false credit card charges. The nature of these scams often involves pre-recorded messages, which sound alarmingly legitimate but are designed to steal sensitive information.

In one particularly telling report from 25 June 2024, a user expressed concern as they answered the call thinking it might be from a legitimate service provider after recently filling in a request. Instead, they were met with a recorded message claiming there were unexpected charges on their credit card, leading them to suspect that their personal information might have been compromised during their online activity. This highlights a common tactic used by scammers: leveraging recent user interactions with legitimate businesses to create a facade of trust.

Chinese scam callers. Didn't answer but they left a pre recorded message attempting some sort of scam. Don't answer, just block.

I don't usually pick up calls from numbers I do not know but I did this time as I thought it may have been from Dodo as I had to fill in a request form this morning adding my landline number. It was a recorded message regarding charges on my credit card. I hung up when I heard the last high amount the male voice said was made on my account which of course I did not make. I am sure it would have led on to calling back a scam number or something like that. I have to wonder if my landline number on that request online form was acquired in some way.
