What Our Users Reviewed
Scam caller claiming to be calling from eBay (gave full name and employee ID no to sell it) to verify a transaction made on my eBay account from California. When I advised it wasn't me they said my account was compromised or my IP address public. Gave me the whole fraud spiel and said they would be giving me a cancellation code and asked if I had a device handy to input it. Told her to give it to me over the phone and she said she couldn't do that as my account was compromised. Asked what my name was and she refused to give it.
Hung up and called eBay who confirmed definite fraud call. Advised me she would have had me download an app to input the code which would have then given access to my device.
