4 /04 /2017 I clicked on an ad in facebook and given the same pop up as above. I wasn't so smart and took it seriously and rang the number. I paid for the service and gave them permission to remotely control my computer to fix the problems. So far my computer is still operating. But I believe that all my personal information has been stolen.

This is a scam, I clicked on a Facebook ad and it told me my computer had been compromised with my Facebook login, credit card info, photos, emails etc., and to call this number to get the problem sorted out.

I saw exactly the same message a week ago, with a different number to call. I called both times, Indian sounding guy on the other end. Didn't go much further, but expected to be told they'd fix it after I paid a fee.
