Although I chose not to answer the call, they left a voicemail. The recorded message seemed designed for someone who was supposed to pick up. It claimed to be regarding a 'suspicious' eBay transaction, prompting me to press various buttons to verify or report it. However, the eBay transaction mentioned was nonexistent.
Just had 2 calls from 0240479250. Just silence and automated goodbye.
Caller said that she was from the ATO and that the ATO is instituting criminal proceedings against me. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she hung up. It is a scam so beware.
Foreign female accent called in. Cited "Mrs" surname. I said no person here (I'm not Mrs). She said it must be a wrong number and hung up. Called back to confirm if ATO as claimed as I had been spec ting a call. Foreign accent male answered as ATO then stated there was a lawsuit against me by ATO. Would meet today to show me the documents. We could then spend time together in my bed. Don't know who is paying the phone bill for these folk to interact with people who don't give up a damn about their obvious wierdness, frustrations and delusions.
