    I filled out an expression of interest form online. It turned out to be a business promoting binary options on the stockmarket. BE WARNED! I LOST $15.000 DOLLARS ON BINARY OPTIONS. It is legitimate, but it's only as sure as playing the pokies. Do yourself a favour and don't get involved. They will keep ringing. Ignore the call or have them blocked.

    I kept getting calls and hanging up if answered or left a hang up voice message. Very annoying.

    At least 9 calls a day starting at 0639 and latest was 2315. Hang up when answered.

    My call was from that exact number, someone from the quick cash system? I suspect these numbers are reserved for international companies who need to 'appear' to be local in order to snag someone into their product... Just a hunch.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
