They have no car/model knowledge.
This call was a scam pretending to offer GPS updates for my car. In reality, they were attempting to install remote control software on my computer to steal my personal information.
The caller was very aggressive, claiming they worked on GPS issues related to my computer. They refused to provide their name or the company they represent. Additionally, they called my mobile phone back to back, making five calls in total.
I received two calls back to back from this number just five minutes before I received three consecutive calls from another number in NSW. I don't know anyone who would be calling me from interstate on a public holiday.
