0480 837 525 - I call this scam because of the following: 1. Caller knows your name so they got your number from somewhere. 2. Apart from some civil chat, it follows a pattern something like - INTRO - about Australian government solar rebates etc. CALLER: "You spoke to one of my colleagues a few weeks ago...." (some song and dance story about solar and some organisation dealing with solar panels) ME: Sorry you are wrong. I told your "colleague" I live in apartments so I cannot simply install solar panels anytime. CALLER: "Sorry sir. I will remove your number from our calling list. You will not receive any more calls from our organisation"... Here is the kicker - when you get 3 phone calls with the same messaging and almost 100% identical conversation, with almost 100% identical caller conversations and messaging AND you can hear some conversations going on in the background so suspiciously like a call centre, it sounds like a scam - someone is reading from a script. I have received calls from 0480837525,0480837670 and another number I can't remember. Annoying when you are expecting important calls also.
0420 143 701 - Call came through with no message, think it might be a scam
(08) 7093 2754 - Ring came through, no voicemail, got past the phone's own screening that asks who's calling
0483 695 654 - Got a message from someone I don't know
(08) 6211 1301 - Got a call with a garbled message left, security software flagged it as likely spam and blocked it
(03) 9087 4190 - Reckons they're from a fitness place, rang 5 times in two weeks pushing a membership deal even after I said no
