0457 502 322 - Like one other intended victim here, I received 2 sms messages from “Apple” indicating an attempt to reset and provided a 6 digit code, followed by a very dodgy robot mobile phone call from 0457 502 322, posing as a teleprompt to confirm if I intended to reset my Apple ID from Novosibirsk. Now, the “British Accent Scammer” (look it up) for real rang me months ago and so I learned from that it is possible for scammers to not only spoof mobile phone numbers but also spoof sms messages to appear in the exact thread from a legit institution (the poor guy who went on the news about it lost over 100k - it is vital viewing). Therefore, given the obvious red flags, the only thing to do was to hang up immediately. I have no idea what would happen if I pressed #1 or #2 and I hope nobody does. There is no way in hell Apple is going to ring me from a mobile call. Glad to hear someone else reported it here 1st. I wonder if my old email is compromised.
(02) 8360 9596 - Called back twice, recorded message about holding and transferring to an agent, waited a minute but just silence
(03) 7050 6085 - Never leaves a message, calling back gets a hold message saying you'll be transferred to an agent but can't figure out who they work for
0488 057 158 - Text saying my account email's gonna change unless I answer or ring back
0433 056 897 - Text today saying are you around
(03) 9072 0331 - Picked up and recognised the scam script straight away, reporting to warn others
