Received a text from "NAB", saying my loan had been pre approved. I believe it's a scam.
Problem is, I had old text msgs from this number that were actually from NAB. This is concerning. Maybe the scammers have accessed NABs text msging service and all their contacts...
Spam number pretending to be NAB.
Scam.
Scammers not the nab!
Scammers! don't call. If you do you may get a recording that sounds legit! It is not! The nab recording uses real information and may be a recording of the nabs actual information. They will ask you to stay on the line. Hang up. These people are fraudsters and will ask for account details and other personal information. Ignore them and hangup!
Just another bunch of scammers trying to say that a loan has been approved in my name. If a loan had been approved from the nab then it would show up on my credit history check, because the nab would have done a search for any type loan. These people are scammers do not contact them, if you do, tell them nothing.
Rang back as I was suspicious and some sub-continental answered after a very convincing pre recorded message. Don't bite this is just some jerk trying to rip off pensioners.
I also got a “your loan has been preapproved” message - Its probably just a scam.
This number messaged me saying I had a loan approved, I called the number this number but feel like it’s a scam? They wanted my online banking number so I hung up, what happened with you?
