Just a nonsense scam text, ignore them and report the message to ACCC.
It seems someone tried a wide spread scam the other day. This was the number I was told to call after receiving an SMS about a PayPal payment. It is cleasrly a scam as I didn't use PayPal for that value and none of my credit cards reflected this.
I just received the same scam SMS text message, about a PayPal Alert, asking me to call this number if I want to dispute the transaction. Not very well designed... Nobody ever sends "for dispute" links / numbers... Immediately made me suspicious. Where can we report this number? There must be an owner who can be prosecuted?
Just got this text as well from +61 (0401452158) at 7:17am today claiming Id made a $1500 purchase on PayPal and to ring this number to dispute it if necessary. Typical lowlifes with their scam. Clearly this number is neither the customer service number for either PayPal or my Credit Card provider.

Checked my pay account first, and no transactions were made. It's clearly a scam but it's a weird one coming through text with no link and just a number to ring. Don't bother ringing just block them.

I believe it is a scam as they say that $150 has been transferred to a PayPal account but there has been no movement in my accounts.
