Also received this text, I manage 2 PayPal accounts and when I rang they wanted email address, I have 2 so which account are you directing this to?? Told them they were scammers.

Exactly the same spam message as everyone else. Just received it saying "you have raised a request to send $897 to miss. Tracy white, @pypl*Int, on 01/19. If this is not you? Reach us on <this number> immediately"

Just received the text message from this number +61-1800 953 470 marked as VT-PayPal and ask whether I have raised to send $xx to xx@pypl*int on 01/19, and ask me to reach out to them if I did not.

This is a scam number.
I also received a text message claiming to be from PayPal stating:
"Your request has raised to send A$980.00 to Mr. John Davis @pypI*int, on 01/19, If not you? Reach us on +61 1800 953 470 to cancel Immediately."
Received a text which appeared to be from PayPal (can't see actual number) saying I had raised a request to send $897 to "Miss. Tracy white @pypl*lnt" and to call this number if it wasn't me ("if this is not you? Reach us +611800953470 immediately"). Definitely a scam, went and changed my PayPal password just in case.

Number is scam.
The caller informed me that I had supposedly raised a request to send A$897.00 to someone named Miss Tracy White at a website associated with PayPal. They instructed me to contact 1800 953 470 immediately if I did not initiate this transaction. I did not request this transfer, and I find it alarming.
