1800948209 - Yep my business neighbour got this after an inadvertent click in Facebook. Fortunately he called me and we rebooted the machine and everything seemed normal.
An hour or so later neighbour actually received a call from 1800948209 saying they knew he'd had a problem. He was smart enough to tell them to rack off.
So not only are they hoping you'll be stupid enough to call, they're hoping you're stupid enough to react when THEY call! They've obviously obtained some information from his computer and contacted him proactively, hoping to bait him that way. I've advised him to change his passwords on ANOTHER computer.

You end up phoning scammers who get you to install some remote access software and they connect to your Mac and can see everything. Then they get you to check your email and get you to log into your banking (they are watching everything). Not sure what happens after that as my family member came to their senses and hung up.
