The number on the screen pop up says:

"Do not restart your computer. Your computer is disabled. Please call me. Access is the block security reason for this computer. Please contact us immediately. A technician will help you solve the problem.

Yes the pop up is gramatically incorrect.

I called the 1800 number using 1831 to ensure my number was private and said I wanted to speak to Telstra Support. A man in an Indian accent fumbled then said "Yes this is Telstra support". I played dumb then said sorry I called the wrong number I was trying to call Microsoft support and I asked "Is this Microsoft?" The Indian guy then said "Yes this is Mircrosoft Support". Dodgy as AF.

Microsoft "Customer Support" I called them, from a pop up on my computer. Rang rings around them, tested their patience, by constantly misspelling words, and, unable to find the "download" buttons. They hung up, after being called out as scammers and thieves. didn't like it one bit.

Happy days.
