My pc got hijacked with a web browser pop up telling me to call this number due to "suspicious-activity-detected" requesting user name and password. Once it started, every time I restarted the browser, back it came. It took some pc knowledge to get rid of it (open a private browser window, go to settings and clear your cache and history, then run a Malware scan).
I was dowloading a torrent through uTorrent.
