I got this number for a website called customersupportaustralia. I rang 1800817695. They said they could fix my problem and I allowed them access to my computer. After a few minutes I realised that it could be a scam. Tried to check out details with technician. He gave me an unverifiable company name and address at which point I disconnected and shut down computer.
Do not shut down computer error code 220-077-068.. call microsoft certified technicians 1800017695. Computer is frozen will remove battery and reboot. 100% sure it is a scam.
I had the same issue as the lady above but I didn't call the number. I shut down my computer down, re started and ran my virus scanner (Norton) and all is good. I contacted Telstra direct to inform them and they are aware of this scam. Hopefully they should be able to track the bastards down and prosecute....
I got a message on my compjter saying a trojan virus was infecting my computer something anoit financial information could be gained to ring that number, when I rang he said turn the computer on and he. Could remove the virus, I said not like I am letting anyone into my computer, he abruptly said thank you Maam and hung up, so this would be a scam to get into your computer!!!!!
