Someone called from unknown number leaving a voice message to say he was “Peter Carmichael from the ATO for xxxxmynamexxxx regarding your tax return” he left a complicated reference number and this number to call back. I called ATO and it was an unknown reference number and unknown telephone number for them. They formally reported it as a scam.
