They call our house phone regularly trying to pose as telstra but lately they also send a SMS to my mobile/cell phone that's also with telstra it even displays in inbox as telstra " Hi from Telstra: We??? Re trying to call you regarding your home phone specifically your Silent Line preference. Please call us on 1800787084 Mon-Fri 8am-6pm AES.".

No I didn't say more then f$%k off I'm not interested stop calling remove me from your call lists because it's happened again this morning and the calls usually happen frequently 1-2 times a week and usually late after noon or 6-8pm.

Don't give them any details over the phone to them or any telemarketer best not to trust a voice calling you about deals or things because at the end of the day the person trying to scam you most of the time can barely speak English to begin with never mind the SMS stuff ups with two words and the background noise of a lot of people crammed into a small space best to describe it without sounding racist.. Like an Indian based call Center where no one but the person talking to you is speaking in English and the person speaking to you isn't fluent in English it's usually that bad it's noticeable they only speak certain words only ita scripted.

Also got a sms and call (at exact same time) regarding my preference for a silent line. I have a telstra line but no home phone plugged in as I only use it for the internet. I hung up once they asked for name and dob etc.

Received a text requesting a callback to the above number specifically regarding our silent number. Our landline is not even with Telstra !!
