What Our Users Reviewed
Got a call from these guys. Same people as Paul, told me I was a customer and hadn't contacted them in 3 months. He wanted to help me out with a security problem he said my network had.
I'm not a customer, but I went along with him. We opened event viewer and he asked me for the first problem on the list. Of course, it turned out to be potentially world ending and I would have bank details stolen etc.
It was no such thing. It's a scam. Google "Albion Global" for more info.
The operators called constantly saying there was a problem with our PC and wanting access. Was on a silent number but I said the line was bad and wanted to call back and got this one. They said the company was "Albion Global". I called the number and got the "press 1 if you're a new customer", "press 2 etc", so pressed "1" and got straight through.
Asked the operator where he was located and he said India.
I asked if it was a scam and he said "no, no, no".
Told him they were harassing us with their constant calls and we were going to report them and he hung up.
