This call came through as spam on my phone. I was a little worried as I've just booked with airbnb. Didn't bother calling back as the numbers are not registered with CBA, and I always look on here as well.

I just got a text from Commonwealth-CBA for $851.31 AIRBNB with this phone no. They asked if I'd given the card to anyone, asked if I'd shopped at Amazon and others, I said I didn't think so, then asked me to go into my account and check for any suspicious transactions - I said I already had. Then they asked me to confirm my account balance and I said no. The said "are you refusing to comply?" I said I think I've given you enough information... And they hung up!

Sms saying combank has put on hold 851.52 air bnb charge and to call this number. My ph knows this number is a scam. I wanted to see which Asian country it was. Very convincing with the pre recorded cba instructions. Then I get a so called Benjamin. He asked for my reference. I gave that to him. Then he asked for my date of birth. I said scammer I'm. Not telling you that and he hung up. Funny he asked for date of birth. I should have said NYFB.
