Received this dodgy envelope that looked important, complete with ANZ logos. But then it got weird when they said to add +61 for international calls, even though that's not what we use here. A bit sus, eh? After checking, found out it’s not even ANZ. What a hassle, totally untrustworthy!

The caller ID displayed ANZ bank, but I believe this number is not genuinely associated with them.
This person leaves a message saying, in a very quiet voice. " I would like to speak to... Using your Christian" he then says " this is David from ANZ". I would like to talk to you about a banking matter. Please phone me on 1800 679715.
Our bank says it's a scam do not reply to them.

I looked through the entire ANZ phone directory online and this number could not be found.
Called back and got a recording asking to enter customer/account number, the selection options (ie what am I calling about). I waited until a person came on the line and could hear people in background (call center).
They asked for an account number and what the call was about. I asked if it was a legitimate ANZ number and said it was and could give me another number to call if I felt uncomfortable. And if I'd like to end the call. I did.
They are just some advertising shit, none of them are members of ANZ, just got 3-4 calls and also a voice message, I feel sick.
Keep getting calls from this number claiming to be ANZ bank - I had an account that I closed over 6 months ago then started getting calls from these scammers! Asked for their name and position - both bullshit. This number doesn't come up on any of ANZ's numbers at all! Don't give them any details at all :).
Got a call on our home phone from a lady asking to speak with my daughter well outside of business hours claiming to be from the ANZ Bank and asking her to call back on this number regarding a personal banking matter.
This is absolutely a hoax as my daughter never uses our house phone for anything and the phone line sounded like an international call.
Same thing. Told me to call hem on this number. Wanted my name and DOB. I refused and told them they called me and asked them why. Without me giving them personal details they wouldn't tell me anything. As we were then at an impasse I advised them not to call me again.
Received a message on my phone to call this number, they proclaimed it was ANZ & were asking for account details/name/dob etc. When I told them I didn't have an account with ANZ they told me to visit the branch to verify my details with my drivers licence.
