If you receive a text message stating disbursement amount $2589 charged for card @PP-intel*VIL its a scam. They claim to be from PayPal. Do not provide any of your personal details. They will send a sms to your mobile as verification. SCAM SCAM.

I didn't respond as it's clearly phishing for details. Let others beware.It's easy to see how some people can be sucked in by this sort of scam. It could be quite frightening for some people to think that $900 has gone from their account.
Got a txt message that $1399.99 got billed to my card & to call 1800 569 101 - Definitely a scam.

I received a text with the content:

Do not call the number, they do not know who you are. They are fishing for someone gullible enough to call and then be promised their money will be returned if they provide all their personal and banking details. Check your bank accounts first and you will see no such transactions have taken place. They are trying to steal your details and money. The best people to talk to when a transaction you did not authorise is your bank to see if they can recover it, not some random phone number that does not even know who you are.
Got a text that says a purchase of $900 has been successful. Prompted me to dial 1800569101 for any dispute. Clearly a scam/spam.

Only thing is the date they put was for 2009.
