I just had a virus message pop up on my computer (mac book), and had this number to call, stating my computer was in danger. Which stupidly I called straight away, as the other side answered, I realised it wasn't right. An indian guy answered and it was ver loud wherever he was. I instantly had this feeling of not trusting him. But he asked a few questions, including what websites I was looking at etc. I than sadly gave him my email address and hopefully he didn't get the spelling right. Than decided to act like my computer stopped working. And while I had him on the phone I turned my Macbook off. I told him I will call him back cause my computer wasn't turning on. He than said can you turn on wifi, and I jut told him my computer wouldn't turn off. And I will call him as soon as it will turn on. He got my number and actually repeated my number to say he will call back in fifteen minutes. Since than I have blocked the number so they can't call. And now back on my computer deleting my history and googled the number to find this. Please do not trust this number. I am worried that they have my number and email address they can get in to my information somehow, any suggestions on what to do???
