I got a message saying I paid amt. $2199.95 against canon EOS R6 HD camera on 16th May 2021. Checked my accounts, presumed it is some sort of scam.
Scam message received:

I got a message from +61 4 2108 5802 saying that "Your payment $2199.95 for Canon EOS R6 HD Camera Success on 14th May 2021, AMZN#70149231QR7. Contact us: (+61)1800 491 590 for your query.".

Received a text message from mobile number +61 422 589 380, Saying "You paid: A$2099 for Samsung Electronics Galaxy Note 20 128GB@Amazon order ID#110-6787908097TF on2021.04.01 For help Call:+61 1800 491-590" ......It's a Scam apparently.... Because I had $5 in my account only....lol.
We just got sent a text regarding a large Amazon payment that we supposedly made - it's a scam.

I got a message from +61432343567 saying I have ordered a Macbook on Amazon. If not you call 01800491590. I know it is a scam because I checked all my bank accounts. No transaction was made. I checked all my Amazon account and found no order was made.
I decided that I will test if it is a scam. I nearly loose money !
After I ring them, the guy asked if my email address is such, such. I said no because his pronunciation was bad. Then he asked me to tell him the security code. I told him so he knew the link between the email address and the mobile phone number on Amazon. He then asked again and again. I think it is scam and then cut the phone.
To my surprise, my password with Amazon has been altered. So I got hooked! Luckily they cannot order stuffs using my Amazon account because I have limited the maximum transaction per day to $200.
I have reset the password using Amazon code on my mobile phone.
OH and the mobile the SMS comes from is 0403286784 which I think is a South African origin, so once again heed the advice, watch out for Scammers.
Had the same number to call in an SMS Message supposedly from Amazon, purchasing new Samsung phone, I ignored it as SPAM, be careful everyone !
Scammers pretending to be from Amazon sent me a text claiming I'd paid for a Macbook. Tried to get my credit card details.
